The Wadiz Partner Business Team Story part 1.
"Wadiz provides a 'network of trusted partners' for makers who take on the challenge."
Hello pros! Please introduce yourself to the Wadiz Partner Business Team.
Yoonji Jang: The Wadiz Partner Business Team is a team that fills in the gaps that makers with products or ideas need to bring them to the world through Wadiz through external partnerships. The team is aligned with the vision of 'Wadiz creates a world where anyone can challenge themselves'. Currently, we are focusing on 'content' partner services.
Tell us a little more about the Content Partner Services, which is currently the focus of the Wadiz Partner Business Team.
Jaebeom Jung: This is a service that creates a detailed Wadiz pagewith experts to help makers tell their product and brand story to supporters. It's available to any maker who is preparing to raise funds on Wadiz. The advantage is that makers can use a reliable service because official partners verified by Wadiz are in charge of content creation, and a representative from Wadiz's partner business team manages the overall project.
Why did we launch the Content Partners service?
Yoo: We started this service to help makers who are experts in their products but struggle with how to communicate with their supporters. In fact, our official partners are makers themselves and have a lot of experience in their respective fields. Their expertise is crucial because creating a Waddies detail page requires an understanding of both the product and Waddies.

Choyoung Yoo, Partner Business Team Lead, Wadiz
Can we assume that the reason Wadiz operates with "official partners" is to leverage their expertise?
Yoo Choyeum : Yes, the most fundamental reason is that we want to provide a safety net of 'trusted partner network' to the makers who are trying to do business with Wadiz. In business, you need to collaborate with many partners, and it's not easy to find good partners, so we started with the idea that we need to build a pool of quality partners ourselves.
Jae-beom Jung : The second is to grow together with our partners. Wadiz aims to be a comprehensive support platform for startups. Not only makers, but also partners are startups or small companies, so I think it's meaningful in terms of growing together with partners, because there are actually some companies that started Wadiz as makers and then started partners.

Official WADIZ 2022 Content Partner Meeting
How does the tri-partite content partner service (Wadiz-Partner-Maker) work? I'd love to hear about the biggest differences between working with other production companies.
Hyejin Lee : The production process for funding content goes in the following order: first, we identify the product, then write the initial proposal, get feedback from Wadiz editors, finalize the story, shoot and retouch the product, and design the detailed page. The Wadiz content team provides feedback on the initial proposal from the partner company and suggests revisions for a better story. The most satisfying part for the makers is the feedback from the Wadiz content team on the partners who wrote the first draft. The makers can tell us the direction they want to change, and the Wadiz content team editors will reflect it. The partners who write the first draft are also experts, so the makers are happy that we play an intermediary role when they have difficulty conveying what they want.
What role do Wadiz representatives play in running the Content Partner service?
Yoonji Jang: I think the partner business team is playing the role of a team builder for makers. In order to open one funding project, it is essential to collaborate not only with partners but also with various related departments within Wadiz. I think it is our role to help the representatives of each department work as a team for makers. In that sense, it was impressive that makers actually commented that they met a good team of experts in each field.

The Wadiz Partner Business Team Story part 2.
"We want to serve the needs of more makers in more ways"
What do you focus on most when running your service?
Hyejin Lee :I'm thinking about 'what makers really need' the most, because Wadiz funding is the starting point of their business. In addition to creating detailed pages, we are planning services that focus on filling practical needs in the entire process, including product mass production, marketing, logistics, and developing distribution channels after funding.
Yoonji Jang: Speaking of the future, we are also thinking a lot about how we can meet the needs of more makers. As more and more makers are preparing to raise funds on Wadiz, from solo creators to small businesses to medium and large enterprises, the needs of makers are diversifying. We are thinking about how we can collaborate with our partners to fulfill various needs and grow together.

Do you have a favorite maker or project that stands out in your mind?
Yoo Choyeum: I remember the maker 'BodyScope' as the most ideal maker in my opinion. You ran rewards with moxibustionitems, and the product was unique, and the community actively communicated with supporters and responded well. You only did B2B (Business to Business) business, and B2C (Business to Consumer) was your first attempt with Wadiz funding, and I was really happy that the funding amount was good.
Jang Yoon-ji: I remember the 'Dahm' maker that introduced 'Fermented Konjac Ramen' the most. The results were much better than my expectations and the maker's expectations. Wadiz has a 'PD' (Project director) who consults projects. Dahm Maker was a project that was directly connected to the success support team and the advertising business team without consulting a PD, and I am still proud of the results because we worked well together as an original team.
Jae-beom Jung: I remember collaborating with the makers of the shoe brand 'Elcanto'. When they first contacted us, they asked, "Do you do funding for companies as big as Elcanto?" We told them that we had helped medium and large companies like Samsung C&T, Dong-A Pharmaceuticals, Logitech, and Eider achieve good results with our service, so they wanted to try it. Contrary to the maker's worries, the '90,000 won cost-effective shoe derby & loafer' project exceeded the target funding amount as soon as it opened, and the maker successfully launched the new product by raising over 30 million won.
Lee Hye-jin : I remember the 'Crank Road BikeHelmet' project with the Korea Sports Promotion Agency the most. It was a very rewarding project because I felt that the government organization and Wadiz collaborated to provide practical help to makers who were in the early stages of their business. It was even more memorable because all of the makers who were selected for the support received successful funding, leading to a second round of collaboration.
Which makers would you like to collaborate with in the future?
Yoonji Zhang : I would like anyone who is confident in their product to come. If you come and say, "This product is really good, but I don't know how to tell about it," we can think about it together from the perspective of Wadiz official partners and supporters and make a better story.
Yoo Choyeum : If you're a product planner and need a fresh perspective on your product, I think it would be great to come here, because we have official Wadiz partners who can give you a fresh perspective on your product.
Jaebeom Chung : If you're looking at the Wadiz detail page and wondering, "How do I make something like this?", we're here to help. We'll be happy to help you turn that picture in your head into a reality.
